Choir's Annual Basket Auction's Gifts Prove Popular
Help support high school choir while marking off holiday gifts at event.

For more than 20 years, the Hillsborough High School Choir Basket Auction has helped support the choir's annual year-end awards and competition trips.
But the auction has also become a popular alternative to gift shopping at crowded stores, with quality items—like Coach bags and Keurig coffee makers—making perfect Christmas gifts.
The auction, hosted by Hillsborough High School Choir and Choir Parents Association, will be held Dec. 6, with doors opening at 6:45 p.m. and the first tickets getting pulled at 8:30 p.m. in the school's commons.
This year's auction will feature items such as Keurig and SodaStream machines, Bobby Flay cookware and much more.
"This is the choir's biggest fundraiser, and all proceeds will benefit the HHS Choral program, including our year end Senior Awards," Tom McKenna, president of the Choir Parents Association, said.
Admission and basket tickets will be available for purchase at the door—but you can also reserve yours in advance by contacting the HHS Choir Parents Association at hhschoirparents@gmail.com; or by calling McKenna at 908-403-8646; or Barbara Turck at 908-872-8300.
