One Republican and one Democrat filed to run in the uncontested Primary Election for 2025 for the Hillsborough Township Committee.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The unofficial results are in for the 2025 Primary Election for the Hillsborough Township Committee.
While the Committee races for Republicans and Democrats were both uncontested in the primary election, they will be contested in the general election in November.

Here are the unofficial results for the Hillsborough Township Committee (*denotes incumbent). According to Somerset County, 100 percent of the districts have reported. However, these results remain unofficial until all mail-in and provisional ballots are counted:

- John Ciccarelli* - Republican - 2,574
- Jill Gomez - Democrat - 3,156

New Jersey Legislative District 16 House of Representatives:
- Roy Freiman - Democrat* - 15,189
- Mitchelle Drulis - Democrat* - 15,309
- Mahmoud Desouky - Democrat - 3,708
- Scott Sipos - Republican - uncontested
- Catherine Payne - Republican - uncontested
The New Jersey general election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
