HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Mark Miranda of Hillsborough, who nominated his cousins and nieces Louie, Gigi, Gianna and Isabelle Limosnero of Hillsborough:

What does the nominee do for work?:
All four are registered nurses.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
They are all four Registered Nurses and have been on the frontline since the pandemic started. They didn't slow down taking care of their patient even though they were in the process of moving to San Francisco. Louie and Gigi worked their last shift taking care of COVID-19 patients days before their move out date. Both of my nieces also never wavered from their roles as nurses while pursuing their Masters in Nursing.

Thank you for all you do, Louie, Gigi, Gianna and Isabelle!
