Free Clean Up Coupons for Residential Access to Facility Now Available

Coupons to the annual clean-up program in Hillsborough are available from March 9 to April 30.

Hillsborough Township is offering free clean-up coupons beginning Monday, March 9, for residential access to the drop-off facility.

Coupons for access to the Auten Road Facility and senior citizen curbside pickup stickers are available at the Hillsborough Township Department of Public Works office, 21 East Mountain Road, Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The coupons and stickers are available on a first come, first serve basis, according to Hillsborough Township. There are 150 pickup coupons available per date. Curbside pickup for senior citizens will begin on Monday, April 6, in the northwest section of the township.

The clean-up program is intended to allow residents to dispose of old furniture, toys, rugs, appliances, bicycles, yard debris and more, the township said. Electronic and hazardous materials will not be accepted during the clean-up program.

The drop-off site is located on Auten Road, across from the Auten Road Intermediate School. The program is for Hillsborough residents only and proof of residency is required, Hillsborough Township said.
