Hillsborough High School Girl’s Lacrosse Random Acts of Kindness Day

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough High School Girls' Lacrosse (Glax) players spread Random Acts of Kindness through the town this past Saturday.
Eight teams of players worked off a bingo board with diverse activities to pay it forward in their community.
The players collected and delivered donations for local animal shelters and hospitals, created and hand-delivered cards to local nursing facilities, delivered treats to their local police and fire departments and donated used books to their local library and little libraries.

Additionally, town-folk may have found friendly messages on local businesses' shelves, maybe one on their car or some special staff members at the High School may have found a card telling them how they have been impactful to that player.
Schools throughout the town will also find their sidewalks decked out with chalk art and the local pantry will have seen an influx of well-needed pantry supplies.

In addition to helping their community, the effort was created by the HHS Glax booster club for players to build new friendships within their program, whom they don't have access to get to know on the field.
In the future, if you see players from Team’s Ava, Devin, Evelyn, Kendra, Paige, Riley, Sara or Sydney, make sure to tell them thank you for bringing a smile to your face!
