Hillsborough HS Girls' Track & Field Honored For Successful Season

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough High School Girls Track & Field Team was honored by the Township Committee for their successful season.

At the June 13 Township Committee meeting, Mayor Shawn Lipani presented the Hillsborough team with a proclamation.

The team's season ended with their win of the Central Jersey Group 4 State Championship.

They also won the Skyland Conference Relay Championship, the Somerset County Relay Championship, the 2023 Delaware Division Championship, the 2023 Overall Skylands Conference Championship, and the 2023 Somerset County Girls Track and Field Championship.

"The Mayor and the Hillsborough Township Committee, do hereby commend the Hillsborough High School Girls Track & Field Team, the coaches and parents, not only for their successful season but for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport and to those principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork and academic achievement which the organization endorses," according to the proclamation.
