Hillsborough Man Charged With Child Abuse, Terroristic Threats: Prosecutor

David Hydro faces up to five years in prison if found guilty.

A Somerset County man allegedly made terroristic threats and abused a child, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns charges.

The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office released a statement claiming David Hydro, 33, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, a third-degree crime, and child abuse, a fourth-degree crime.

Hydro was arrested and jailed on $20,000 bail, which he posted.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit at 908-788-1129.

If found guilty, Hydro faces up to five years in prison.
