Hillsborough Massage Open House to Benefit BoroSafe
Proceeds of event will help support suicide prevention programs.

Hillsborough Massage Therapy LLC has dedicated their Annual Open House Benefit to helping prevent suicide.
The BoroSAFE Committee was formed earlier this year to help get word out that help is available and suicide can be prevented. The fundraiser is being held from noon to 4 p.m., Dec. 7, in Hillsborough Massage Therapy’s offices at 601A Omni
Drive in Hillsborough.
Suicide is the third leading cause of death of adolescents in the US, estimated at one every 15 minutes (34,000 per year). In Hillsborough, there have been at least 12 confirmed suicides over
the last 15 years. BoroSAFE (Suicide Prevention for Everyone) was formed earlier this year.
Its purpose is to help get word out that help is available, not just for adolescents, but for anyone who may be contemplating taking their own life. Stop by on Dec. 7 and increase your awareness.
We’ll have a “SAFE Room” if you wish to talk to someone on a confidential basis.

Free chair massages (no appointment necessary) and light refreshments will be offered to the public. Attendees will be able to register for one of many door prizes, including Gift Baskets of
health & beauty items and free massages. There will also be a Silent Auction with bids taken for various massages. The highest bidders will win and they will be notified after the event. Winners need not be present to win either a free item or a bid item—100 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the BoroSAFE committee.
