Hillsborough Massage Parlor Cited For Having Unlicensed Therapists: Blotter

The Hillsborough Police blotter for November also included multiple driving while intoxicated arrests and jewelry thefts from homes.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A massage parlor in the Township was cited recently for employing unlicensed therapists.

On Nov. 26, Hillsborough Police Officers saw Massage Mastery Wellness Inc. (256 Rt. 206) operating without a license.

Once inside the business, two unlicensed therapists were serving clients, said police.

The owner, Lei Sun, 38, of Edison, was told that they can not operate without a license.

The owner was served with Township Ordinance violations for operating a massage establishment without a license, employing unlicensed massage therapists, and owner to ensure all employees comply with township ordinances.

Sun was given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date and released.

On Nov. 1: Arturo Mora, 45, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on the Route 206 Bypass. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 4: A resident on Fellen Place reported that several pieces of jewelry were stolen from her home. She believed a contractor who was left alone in her home was the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 4: A second resident on Fellen Place reported jewelry was stolen from the home and suspected the same contractor used by a neighbor. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 5: A resident on Whiteneck Court reported a man in an Amazon vest stole two packages valued at $395 off his front porch after delivery. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 5: Somerset County reported several structures were entered on county property at 146 Wertsville Road. Copper pipes, wires, and appliances were stolen from the unoccupied buildings. There was no time frame for when this occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 5: Jennifer Moyd, 40, of Plainfield, was arrested for hindering (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road after providing an officer with a fake name and date of birth. She was served her summonses and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 7: William Morgan, 33, of Rocky Hill, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 7: A resident of Starview Drive reported that a contractor had stolen jewelry from the home. They reported this occurred sometime between July and September. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 11: A resident of Spader Court reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through. Nothing was reported missing. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 12: A resident on Willow Road reported he left his wallet on the hood of his vehicle when he left his house. He realized this and found it had fallen off while driving. He found the wallet later in the day and found his driver’s license and credit cards were missing. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 12: After having a washing machine delivered to the home, a homeowner on Spring Valley Road found a check missing from her checkbook. She was then notified that the check had been cashed for $300. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 13: A Bound Brook resident reported that sometime since August, the license plates were stolen from their vehicle while it was parked on Cardinal Lane. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 13: Marisa Baranski, 46, of Flemington, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 13: Your Doctor’s Care (71 Route 206) reported pry marks on the front door of the office. No entry was gained into the building, and the investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 13: After shopping at the Dollar Tree (256 Rt. 206), a Raritan Borough resident reported she left her wallet in a shopping basket after checking out. When she returned to the store later in the day to look for the wallet, it was gone, and the staff did not have it. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 16: Roberto Perez, 22, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Raider Blvd. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 17: A Hillsborough resident reported her purse was stolen from the changing room of Kohl's (315 Route 206). During the investigation, it was found the suspect was using the victim’s credit card in Manville. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 20: A resident of 20th Street reported the theft of $300 from a lockbox on the property. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 23: Bahir Shoulars, 31, of Irvington, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 25: Johnathan Burke, 40, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 26: Kohl's (315 Rt. 206) reported an unknown man stole a blender worth $238 on Nov. 14. The investigation is ongoing.

On Nov. 27: Syun Singh, 21, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Dukes Parkway West. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 28: Dipali Lips, 53, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Gemini Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Nov. 30: Rahman Hamby, 23, of Plainfield, was arrested for DWI while on a suspicious vehicle check on Ernest Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
