Hillsborough Police: Motor Vehicle Crash Leads to DUI, Drug Charges

In the latest blotter from the Hillsborough Township Police, authorities reported several men were arrested for driving under the influence and several others are facing drug charges.

4/26/2015 James Colonna 32, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.23 percent. Colonna was also charged with failure to maintain lane and uninsured vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

4/29/2015 Steven Aguirre, 40, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving under the influence when officers responded to a business on the report of a possible assault. Aguirre was also charged with refusal to submit breath samples and resisting arrest. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

5/1/2015 John Smith, 48, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of Marijuana after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on Triangle Road. Smith was also charged with unclear plates. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

5/5/2015 Marvin Lubin, 39, of Cliffwood Beach was arrested for possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on Beekman Lane. Lubin was also charged with maintenance of lamps, unregistered vehicle, suspended registration and uninsured vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

5/6/2015 Edward Moshey III, 32, of Princeton was arrested for possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 206 and Amwell Road. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

5/9/2015 Stephen Seltzer, 25, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Roycefield Road. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.1 percent. Seltzer was also charged with possession of Marijuana and failure to observe signal. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
