It is recommended that participants dress in loose, comfortable clothing since the program will be both informative and interactive, according to a report from NJ.com. It is also suggested that participants bring something to write on and a bottle of water.

Topics covered in the program will include victimization, predators, situational awareness, personal safety tips, identifying potential safety issues, dealing with a physical confrontation, being a good witness and basic unarmed defense techniques, the report said. The program is intended to prepare high school seniors with additional skill sets, including the ability to identify potential real world safety concerns and how to respond in those situations.
