ICYMI: Hillsborough Native Earns All-Region Honors
A Hillsborough native and TCNJ student was named to the 2015 NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region Third Team.

A Hillsborough native and baseball player at The College of New Jersey was recently named to the 2015 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region Third Team.
TCNJ junior Patrick Roberts was named to the All-Region team after receiving All-NJAC First Team honors at the end of April. Roberts batted .364 with 48 hits, 29 runs scored and 28 runs batted in for the TCNJ Lions in 2015. According to the college, he led the team in numerous statistics, including total bases with 71, three triples, four home runs, .444 on-base percentage and .538 slugging percentage.
Additionally, Roberts flashed the leather in the field and did not commit a single error, while securing 40 putouts, the college said.

Roberts also tied a TCNJ single-game record by belting three home runs in a game at Haverford College earlier in the season.
According to TCNJ, the regional teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America Committee.
