Learn More About Local Produce at Library Program

Become a "loca-vore" by learning more about the benefits of fresh and locally-produced products.

Written by Mary Nunn

Food historian Judith Krall-Russo will provide a mouth watering lecture on Jersey Fresh products such as tomatoes, corn—and little known historical facts about Jersey swine—at the library at 6:30 pm. Aug. 14 during her "Buy Local: Hillsborough Fresh Foods" presentation.

Krall-Russo will be joined by local business owners from Hillsboro Farm, Norz Hill Farm and Mallery's Grazin Meats to introduce their products—including samples and other refreshments.
