Local Arts Center Hosts Free Midsummer Night of Dance In Hillsborough

Save the date. The Summer is still in high swing. On August 29th The Dance Connection is hosting a festival of crafts, activities and performances for families and children of all ages.

Join other New Jersey families and experience what it’s like to dance in a world of color and stars. All activities are at The Dance Connection arts center, 1 Jill Court, Hillsborough, NJ. Activities start at noon and continue until the evening.

A Midsummer Nights Dance is an opportunity for children as young as 3 to have a unique and fun adventure before the start of the school year. Experience what it’s like to dance in a world of color and stars. Put on a pair of light up fairy wings and become a firefly princess.

Bling out under the black light at a hip-hop dance class. Make a sky lantern, just like from the movie Tangled. Plus there’s a dance party, interactive artwork, performances and more.

The Dance Connection loves creating events for the central New Jersey Community. In addition to A Midsummer Night’s Dance, The Dance Connections has hosted a Circus Dance Festival and produces a Nutcracker each year.
