Quick Stop Store Sells $10K Lottery Ticket In Somerset County

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - One Somerset County lottery player is now a little richer, according to officials.

The lucky player purchased a ticket for Friday’s Mega Millions game, winning a humble third-tier prize of $10,000, officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at Quick Stop Food Stores (378 South Branch Rd.) in Hillsborough.

Nine other winners bought a $10,000 prize winning ticket from Bergen to Camden counties. A lottery player in Union County bought a $20,000 prize winning ticket at Alika Retail (101 North Park Ave) in Linden.

Here’s the full list of New Jersey retailers that sold the $10,000 prize winning tickets:

• Bergen County: M & M Discount Wine & Liquors, 429 Market St., Elmwood Park;
• Bergen County: Shoprite Liquor, 220 W. Passaic St., Rochelle Park;
• Camden County: 7-Eleven #10918, 200 West Browning Rd., Bellmawr;
• Gloucester County: USA Gas, 945 Red Bank Ave., West Deptford;
• Middlesex County: Liquor City South, 1345 Route 1 South, North Brunswick;
• Middlesex County: Jersey Food Market LLC, Route 516 Circle Manor, Old Bridge;
• Monmouth County: 7-Eleven #11050, 647 Branch Ave., Little Silver;
• Passaic County: Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Tpke., Hewitt;
• Somerset County: Quick Stop Food Stores, 378 South Branch Rd., Hillsborough; and,
• Union County: Basic Food Mart, 498 Chestnut St., Union.

In addition, 205 players matched four of the five white balls drawn for Friday’s game, with each ticket winning $500. 20 of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $1,000, New Jersey Lottery officials said.

367,031 other New Jersey players took home $1,391,674 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400.

The winning numbers for Friday’s drawing were 30, 43, 45, 46, and 61. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
