RWJ Physician Enterprise of Hillsborough Gains New Orthopaedic Surgeon

RWJ Physician Enterprise is pleased to welcome Dr. James Tovey and his staff to the RWJPE family. After more than fifteen years in private orthopaedic practice within the Somerset County market, Dr. Tovey will establish a new orthopaedic practice (RWJPE James Tovey, MD) in Hillsborough adjacent to our Hillsborough Urgent Care Center.

He specializes in joint replacement, sprains and fractures, arthroscopy, hand and foot care. Also joining RWJPE is Dr. Tovey’s Physician Assistant, John Jacobi, III.

Dr. Tovey is a graduate of Harvard University with an A.B. in Applied Math and Economics and Harvard University Special Studies Graduate School. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey and completed his Internship and Residency at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey .

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Tovey’s new practice is located at 751 Route 206 North, Suite 101, in Hillsborough.
