Somerset County To Hold Fall Surplus Auction
Somerset County residents are invited to bid on a variety of surplus items, which include electronics, used vehicles, and office equipment.

Somerset County residents are invited to bid on a variety of surplus items, which include electronics, used vehicles, office equipment, and more, at the upcoming Fall Surplus Auction. The online auction will begin at 8 a.m. on Oct. 15, and will end with staggered end times starting at 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Residents can preview the entire list of auction items in advance, and are encouraged to read the terms and conditions before bidding. Residents can visit www.govdeals.com/somersetcounty to place bids and view photos of the auction items starting at 8 a.m. on Oct. 15.

Inspection is Strongly Recommended
Items may be inspected in-person at the South County Public Works Facility, located at 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, on the following dates and times.
- Thursday, Oct. 16 – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 17 – 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All property will be sold as-is, where-is. There is a buyer’s premium of 10 percent, however, there are no registration fees charged by the auction company.
Payment and Pickup Guidelines
Full payment is due no later than five business days from the time and date of when the auction closes. Items purchased must also be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of when the auction closes. The buyer is responsible for all loading and transporting of property.
