Student-Artist Adds Another Honor
Hillsborough H.S. junior Zoe Zylowski wins the American Visions Medal.

Add a prestigious medal to junior Zoe Zylowski's list of accomplishments.
On Friday, , which featured her portrait of Joetta Clark Diggs, a four-time Olympian, author and businesswoman.
Zylowski is also now a 2012 National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards American Visions Medal winner. She received the award for her painting "Inheritance."

A panel of jurors selects the best of the five American Voices & Visions Nominees from each region to receive the national recognition.
Teens in grades 7 through 12 can apply in 28 categories of art and writing for the chance to earn scholarships and have their works exhibited or published. Panelists look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
