Township to Recognize Fire Company and More Tuesday

When the Township Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight, the agenda includes a few minutes of recognition for Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. no. 1, the Flagtown company celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Fire Company no. 1 is the township's oldest—it was chartered on May 27, 1938. You have certainly seen the crews at parades and fire scenes—their trucks are a distinctive green, easy to spot in a crowd.
