Long Hill Road Opens After Fallen Tree, Power Lines Cleared

UPDATE: Hillsborough Police announced at 1:30 p.m. that Long Hill Road between Zion Road and Dutchtown Zion Road is now open.

Long Hill Road between Zion Road and Dutchtown Zion Road will be closed for several hours, Hillsborough Police report.

A tree fell on the road, landing on power lines that are now hanging over the roadway, causing the blockage, according to Hillsborough Police.

The road closure was reported shortly after 10:15 a.m. No power outages have been reported at this time. Drivers are urged to plan an alternative travel route.
