3,800 Child Sex Abuse Images Found On Hoboken Man's Computers: Officials
A Hoboken man who moved to Massachusetts was arrested after an investigation into child sex abuse images, officials said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — After a year-long investigation, a Hoboken man has been arrested for having more than 3,800 child pornography items on his computer system, officials said Friday.
Tyler Wright, 25, turned himself in to Hoboken Police Headquarters on Monday, said a Hoboken public safety spokeswoman.
The Hoboken Police Department’s Detective Bureau launched the investigation in August of 2024, they said, after receiving a tip that child pornography was found on Wright’s computer.

They tracked him to Sommerville, Mass., where he had moved at some point.
He has been brought to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, Hoboken police said.
Hoboken Police Chief Steven Aguiar said there is no evidence that children in Hoboken were harmed.
“While it’s currently believed no one from Hoboken was involved in this incident, the safety and well-being of all our residents, especially our children, remain the highest priority of the Hoboken Police Department," he said. "We will continue to do whatever it takes to bring those who attempt to harm any youth, to justice.”
He added, "I commend the entire team who worked on this disturbing case, particularly Det. Castellano, who showed professionalism, dedication, and patience throughout this lengthy investigation."
Wright was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, Hoboken police said.
