Angel Dust Found At Site Where Father, Son Were Killed Near Hudson/Bergen Border

A police complaint revealed more details in the slaying of a father and son in a Hudson County home.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A father and son were killed in a Guttenberg home after one of them said the alleged killer had to leave, according to a police complaint.

Lamont Cole, 40, has been charged by Hudson County prosecutors with the deaths of Ricardo Bory, 58, and Justo Bory, 87, last Nov. 23.

Cole was charged with the elder Bory's death in December, and was charged with Ricardo Bory's death two weeks ago.

A police complaint obtained by Patch revealed a bit more about the events leading up to the men's deaths.

Prosecutors had said that on Nov. 23, shortly after 10 p.m., the Guttenberg Police Department was notified of the two unresponsive men inside a home at 209 71st St.

Lamont Cole was arrested that night and charged with interfering with the investigation. He was charged with the murders later.

A police complaint says that a woman was interviewed in the days after the murders. According to the complaint, the woman said that she had left the home at 5 p.m. some time before the two men were killed.

The woman said that at the time she left the home, Ricardo and Justo Bory were both there, as well as her acquaintance, Lamont "Pont" Cole.

She said that at some point, she received a text message from Ricardo Bory's cellphone saying, "[Redacted] aint' having it, your friend gotta leave. It's over," and "Pont is asleep; make sure he leaves before [redacted] wakes up."

Later, she got a new message saying "Come home 911."

She said she came home after 10 p.m. and was locked out of the house at first.

The complaint doesn't indicate a motive for the killings, but does indicate that PCP, or "angel dust," was found in the home.

Cole has been taken to the Hudson County jail.

The Medical Examiner said that the cause of death for the elder Bory was compressions to the neck. For the younger, it was "homicidal violence."
