Cammarano's Sentencing Postponed by Two Days
Date has been moved because of scheduling issues, said the judge's secretary.

Former Hoboken mayor Peter Cammarano, who was arrested on July 23, 2009 and pleaded guilty to extortion in April, is now set to be sentenced on Thursday morning in U.S. Federal Court in Newark.
Lisette Rodriguez, the secretary of Judge Jose Linares in Newark—the judge who will be sentencing Cammarano—said in two separate phone calls with Patch that the sentencing will now take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. The time was changed, she said, because of a scheduling conflict.
On April 20, the day of the Cammarano's guilty plea, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said that his office will recommend between 24 and 30 months in prison at the sentencing hearing.
