HOBOKEN, NJ — The “cattery” at the Liberty Humane Society in Hudson County recently got a major renovation courtesy of Hartz Mountain and RescueRebuild, a signature project of GreaterGood.
According to its website, Rescue Rebuild is a renovation program that recruits volunteers from all over the country to help animal shelters in need. Its team travels to shelters to take projects “from concept to creation” to improve both the lives of humans and animals.
The new cat space was designed by author Kate Benjamin, the owner of Hauspanther.com, Liberty Humane staff stated.
