Dog Tales In Hoboken: Lost Pup Found, Locksmith Makes Free Fix
A pair of good news stories involving animals took place in Hoboken on the same day.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A pair of good news stories involving animals took place in Hoboken on Tuesday.
The first involved a reunion between a lost dog and its owner. According to the Hoboken PBA, officers found the pooch on 1st and Jefferson streets.
“We want to make sure he gets home safely,” the Hoboken PBA tweeted.

The tale had a happy ending, police wrote.
“The dog has been returned to the owner,” the Hoboken PBA said in an update. “Thank you everyone who shared our post!”

BUSINESS HELPS ANIMAL SHELTER
Another good news story took place at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City, which got a helping hand from a Hoboken business when it needed repairs to its front door lock.
According to a Twitter post from the animal shelter – which also serves the Mile Square City – Hoboken Lock and Supply Inc. arrived on the scene and got the job done in less than 30 minutes.
The business also waived its fees for the shelter, prompting a big, social-media thank-you.
