Downpours Expected, Flooding Possible In Jersey City Area: See When

More than an inch will fall in the Jersey City area this weekend, and over just a few hours. Flooding is possible; see the NWS map.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — As if North Jersey hasn't been slammed with enough rain this week, Saturday night could bring another inch of rain, as well as 33 MPH wind gusts, forecasters say.

The rain will get heavy in the evening, particularly approaching midnight.

Tides will be high this weekend, including a 5.3 foot tide at 9:19 a.m. Sunday, making flooding possible for low-lying areas.
