Fireworks Cap Off 99th Hoboken Italian Festival: See Resident's Photos
A Hoboken resident shared his photos of the fireworks at the city's annual Italian festival. Look below.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's 99th annual Italian Festival, otherwise known as the Feast of the Madonna dei Martieri, began on Thursday and ran through Sunday. Fireworks capped it off on Sunday night.

The tradition of the Madonna Dei Martiri festvial goes back to the year 1399, when the King of Napoli, Ladislao di Durazzo, ordered
that a street festival and religious celebration be combined to celebrate the “Miracle” and blessings of the Madonna.
