Flood Statement Issued For Hoboken: See Timing, High Tide
With rain on the way for all of Thursday, the NWS issued a flood statement for Hoboken. See when.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A coastal flood statement has been issued for Hoboken, with more than an inch of rain expected to fall Thursday.
The statement is in effect from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, around the time of high tide.

On Thursday, a high tide of 4.2 feet is expected at 3:38 p.m.

The NWS says to prepare for "Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline."
Meanwhile, Hurricane Melissa was expected to veer away from the Northeast after drenching Jamaica. "Deadly hazards remain including downed power lines," said the National Hurricane Center on Wednesday. Track Melissa here.
