Former Hudson County Official And Secaucus Teacher Dies

She authored a history book about Hoboken, held important posts in Hudson County, and was a teacher in Secaucus.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Carol Ann Wilson, 81, a local teacher and author who served an important post in Hudson County government, died on Wednesday after a brief illness, according to her obituary.

Wilson had a doctorate from Fordham University. She taught in the Secaucus public schools and went on to become the director of Health and Human Resources for Hudson County.

She was the sister of former Council President E. Normal Wilson, who served in the 1990s, and was the daughter of former City Attorney E. Norman Wilson Sr.

She authored a chapbook for the Hoboken Historical Museum, "Soup Spy, Tea Acolyte," about her summer and after-school jobs in Hoboken, including working at the Maxwell House factory.
