HOBOKEN, NJ — After being closed since early this year for renovations — forcing those who needed in-person help to travel to Jersey City or further — Hoboken's Social Security office wil reopen next week, the agency said.
The office will reopen at 9 a.m. this coming Monday and be open Monday through Friday from 9-4 p.m., the agency said.
It's located at 79 Hudson St., Sixth Floor, three blocks from the train station.

They said, "Social Security’s customers can now make appointments for all types of services insteadof waiting in line, resulting in a better overall experience and reductions in wait times with predictable appointments that help prevent long in-office lines. Customers can still wait in line if they cannot or do not want to make an appointment."
