Hazardous Weather Outlook For Hoboken Warns Of Severe Storms: See Tides, Timing

Wind gusts and more than an inch of rain are possible Saturday into Sunday in Hudson County. See the timing.

HOBOKEN, NJ — After a series of largely dry days, the rainstorms are coming home to roost.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hudson County for Saturday.

They expect rain and gusty winds late Saturday afternoon into the evening.

For Saturday, they said, "Showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Increasing clouds, with a high near 86. ...gusts as high as 25 mph."

An inch of rain could fall in the afternoon and another three quarters of an inch at night, the NWS said. Rain in the morning will give way to sun and a high of 72.

The high tide in Hoboken on Saturday, 5.3 feet, will occur around 8:29 p.m. and the next morning at 8:16 a.m.
