Here Are 5 North Jersey Restaurants To Try That Opened In June
From Tijuana-inspired tacos to Nutella nachos, here are 5 restaurants that opened in North Jersey in and around June.
NORTH JERSEY – Who doesn't love a good cup of coffee, or a street taco with fresh ingredients? In the last month, restaurants have opened in North Jersey to serve a variety of palates. Here are five we reported in Patch:

Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen, Ridgewood
Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen, a chain of fast-casual Mexican restaurants, was set to open its 11th location in Ridgewood this past Saturday.

The chain, founded in 2016 by a group of Rutgers graduates, is known for its street food made fresh daily, includes vegetarian and vegan options. Dishes include burritos, hand-crafted tacos, Mexican street corn, Nutella nachos, and more. They're located at 67 East Ridgewood Ave. Read all about it here.
Isola, Westfield

Isola, an Italian restaurant/cafe that's well known on Long Beach Island, opened in Westfield in early June. They offer a mozzarella bar, fresh pasta made on site, and locally sourced food.
The first location opened at the shore in summer 2023, and customers clamored for another location, said a spokesperson. It's located at 27 Elm St., in the former Feast Catering location. Read more about it here.
Coffee Break, Hackensack
Don't let the name fool you; Coffee Break in Hackensack also offers Italian dishes like pasta and breakfast paninnis. The cafe briefly closed for a week as it changed owners and hours. It has reopened to serve everything from lattes to gelato. It's located at 71 Main St. in Hackensack. Read more about it here.
Somedays Bakery, Montclair
Somedays Bakery was scheduled to open a new location in Montclair this weekend. The bakery, founded in Queens, touts its "made-from-scratch approach" inspired by tradition French cooking. They're known for their croissants and serve up La Colombe coffee. They're located at 260 Bellevue Ave. Read more about their opening here.

Mexico Tacos, Hoboken
Speaking of tacos, a new restaurant serving fresh Mexican ingredients opened four blocks from Hoboken's train station at the end of May. Fillings include beef, chicken, cactus, and more.
