Hoboken Looking for Permanent Construction Code Official

Until someone is hired, a temporary director is in place.

The city of Hoboken is looking for a new, permanent construction code official, according to an announcement on Tuesday.  

The City has been operating with an interim construction code official since 2011.

The suit was filed in Superior Court on Dec. 22, 2011, according to the complaint, which also alleges that Arezzo was "harassed." The complaint specifically mentions Mayor Dawn Zimmer, former  and Corporation Counsel Melissa Longo.

When asked for comment last week, spokesman Juan Melli said he couldn't comment on ongoing litigation.
