Hoboken Mayoral Runoff Election Guide: Who's Running, Where To Vote
Hoboken voters can choose from between 2 candidates for mayor in Tuesday's runoff. Here's what to know.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Six candidates ran for Hoboken mayor last month, and none of them commanded more than 50 percent of the vote. So the top two vote-getters are heading to a runoff election on Tuesday.
Incumbent City Council members Emily Jabbour and Michael Russo are vying for the top spot. The race is non-partisan and both are registered Democrats.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and residents can vote by mail using the mailboxes or voter drop boxes until 8 p.m. as well.

How To Vote?
The polls will be open Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Find your polling place by inputting your address here.
The city said in a message, "Please note, if your polling location is the AJ Demarest school, voting will take place in trailers located on Garden Street between Fourth and Fifth Street. Temporary No Parking signs will be posted in advance."

In addition, the six top vote-getters for three open spots on the Hoboken City Council are vying for those spots Tuesday. While the candidates have aligned with a mayoral ticket, voters can choose any three.

Hoboken's salary ordinance states that the next mayor will be paid $130,000.
The Hoboken City Council members are paid $35,000. The council president and vice president start at $40,000 and $37,500, plus benefits.
