Final Election Results Certified In Hoboken: See Vote Tally
As Hoboken slides toward a Dec. 2 mayor/council runoff, here are the final vote totals from Election Day.
HOBOKEN, NJ — On Election Day, it was clear that Councilwoman Emily Jabbour would face Councilman Michael Russo in a runoff election for Hoboken mayor Dec. 2. Still, not all the votes had been counted, as some paper ballots could be mailed until 8 p.m.
This past Wednesday, the Hudson County Board of Elections certified the final numbers in the race.

A total of six candidates tussled in the race, including four incumbent City Council members.
The elections are non-partisan.

In order to win outright and avoid a runoff, a candidate would have had to receive more than 50 percent of the votes.
Results
Here are the official results:
- Dini Ajmani: 2,,558
- Councilwoman Tiffanie Fisher: 3,737
- Councilwoman Emily Jabbour: 5,275 (27 percent of the vote)
- Councilman Ruben Ramos Jr.:2,933
- Councilman Michael Russo: 4,738 (24.26 percent)
- Patricia Waiters: 177
- Write-In: 113
Salaries And Other Details
Hoboken's next mayor will be paid $130,000.
The part-time Hoboken City Council members will earn $35,000 each. The council president and vice president, also part-time, will start at $40,000 and $37,500, plus optional benefits.
