Hit-And-Run Victim ID'd As Hudson County Mom, Entrepreneur
A Weehawken fitness entrepreneur and mom of 4 was struck and killed by a car in Ocean County, officials revealed.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A Hudson County entrepreneur and mother of four has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run on Route 35 in Ocean County in mid-January.
Julia Sutton, 56, of Weehawken, was struck and killed while she was in the shoulder of Route 35, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said this week.
Sutton was a fitness entrepreneur who co-founded Exhale, a well-being brand, according to her biography. Sutton also was married and had four children, according to her obituary.

Mark Carey, Jr., 19, of South Amboy, was arrested Jan. 14 at his home, Billhimer had previously announced. He is charged with knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in the death of another. READ MORE: Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run In Brick Is Identified
