E-Bike Rider Charged With Sex Crime For Touching Stranger: Hoboken Police
A Jersey City man on an e-bike was charged with a sex crime in Hoboken.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A Jersey City man was charged with criminal sexual contact after two people told police that he had inappropriately touched one of them, police said.
Hoboken police said that just before 4 a.m. on Aug. 31, Officers Donovan Ortiz and Nicklas Valerious were flagged down by two people at the intersection of Washington and First streets.
The pair told police that one of them had been touched inappropriately on the buttocks by a man on an e-bike, who then rode off.

Police say that the same person returned to the area, and the victim pointed him out to police.
Police identified him as Antonio Tzaj, 22, of Jersey City.

He was arrested, taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and released with a court date, police said.
