A new taco spot has opened near the Hoboken train station, offering fresh ingredients. See the menu and photos.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A new taco spot opened up in downtown Hoboken recently, specializing in the taste of Tijuana.
Mexico Tacos, located four blocks from the train terminal, offers pork, steak, chicken, and cactus fillings for tacos, quesadillas, and other traditional dishes.


"We serve fresh food directly off the grill, from the tortillas to protein to toppings," said manager Roberto Lopez.

The spacious eatery opened May 23.


The space is located at 57 Newark St., the ground floor of the new residential building that rose beside the CVS on Newark and Washington.
