New Mobile Health Van To Bring Free Vaccines, Screenings To Hoboken This Week
A mobile health van will offer free flu vaccines and health screenings in Hoboken on Wednesday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hudson Regional Health has launched a Mobile Health Clinic that will offer free vaccines, screenings, and services in Hudson County this week.
The company, which runs four hospitals in Hudson County, called the van "a community outreach initiative designed to bring essential preventive and primary care services directly to residents across Hudson County."
The program will debut on Wednesday at Hoboken City Hall located at 94 Washington Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For this visit, the mobile unit will provide flu shots and free blood pressure screenings to community members.
There is no out-of-pocket cost to anyone with insurance, they said.

"For those who do not have health insurance," said a spokesperson, "they will not have to pay as the cost will be covered through the Hudson Regional Foundation, HRH’s non-profit organization, that raises funds to cover the cost of programs like this." “The launch of our mobile clinic reflects Hudson Regional Health’s ongoing commitment to improving access to care, particularly for those who may face barriers to visiting a hospital or doctor’s office,” said Dr. Nizar Kifaieh, President and CEO of Hudson Regional Health. “By bringing healthcare directly into the community, we can reach residents where they live, work, and gather to help prevent illness and promote overall wellness.”
The mobile clinic is a fully equipped medical unit designed to deliver a variety of healthcare services in neighborhoods throughout Hudson County.
In addition to preventive screenings and vaccinations, future services offered through the mobile unit may include:
Primary care consultations and health education
Women’s health and wellness visits
Diabetes and cholesterol screenings
Vision and hearing tests
Pediatric immunizations and physicals
Behavioral health outreach
Following its debut in Hoboken, the HRH Mobile Health Clinic will visit additional communities across Jersey City, Bayonne and Secaucus, in the coming months, with a schedule of stops to be announced on HRH’s website and social media channels.
