Mom-Owned 'Boomerang Bites' To Give Away Snacks, Host Parent And Child Socials In Hoboken

A mom-owned Australian bakery and cafe in Hoboken is giving away free bites on the first days of school, and offering parent socials.

HOBOKEN, NJ – Boomerang Bites, the artisanal woman-owned Australian bakery in downtown Hoboken, will give away its "Boomerang Bites" to school kids this Thursday and Friday, and launch parent and child socials and other events this school year.

They're also hosting a cross-promotion with the Hoboken Public Education Foundation Back to School Community Run/5K.

“Boomerang Back to School is our way to support the new school year since education is one of our missions, donating 20% of our profits to educational causes through our Be Good Do Good promise, “ said Andrea Rizvi, founder of Boomerang Bites. “We know and appreciate that back to school is a hectic time for both parents and students, so we wanted to help welcome them back with a sweet treat made from all-natural ingredients.”

On Sept. 4 and 5 at 3 p.m., you’ll find Boomerang Bites near Connors School (Sept. 4) and Church Square Park (Sept. 5) for giveaways, sampling and photo props and opportunities. You can sign up there for the Back to School 5K run on Sept. 21. Race day will also include a special sampling table by Boomerang Bites.

Coming up, the eatery will host Snacka’roo Socials on Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m. beginning Sept. 9. They offer $1 bites or a free bite with the purchase of
a coffee drink, and other specials.
