HOBOKEN, NJ — A new café is coming to the center of Hoboken.

Signage has appeared this spring in the storefront at 601 Jefferson St.

Very little can be found about Saoco online, but its sign says, "Without Saoco it's just coffee."

A Cuban restaurant with the same name closed in Jersey City Heights in February. Will this be the next iteration?

"To all Saoco fans, it's been real," wrote the owners on social media on Feb. 3. "I can't thank you enough for your support during our tenure at The Heights. You made this project worthwhile. Thank you everyone at Common Plate for allowing us to be here and delight everyone with our Miami-vibed Cuban food. Muchas muchas gracias."

But the owner told Patch, "My brand is in the DC area. The Saoco you are referring too does not have any association with me."
