Parking Becomes Blood Sport As One Hoboken Man Gets Car Vandalized
One man's car was damaged on Wednesday, police said.

It's commonly agreed upon that finding a parking spot in Hoboken is a difficult feat.
So, when you get your hands on your very own private spot, you don't want anyone else to park their car there, right?
Well, one Hoboken man returned home to park his car on Wednesday night—in a private garage attached to the Adams Street building where he lives—to find his parking spot (number 35) taken, according to police reports.

Forced to park in a close by available spot (number 4), he decided to write a note and place it on the window of the car that was parked in his spot, explaining the parking rules and saying that he was forced to park in another spot.
The next day, the 28-year-old Hobokenite was awoken by his roommate who told him that his car had been vandalized, police said.

When he walked down to the garage, he saw that the right passenger window of his black, four-door, 2011 BMW, was shattered, according to police. And lying on his passenger seat—together with shards of glass—was a note, police said.
A trail of blood was found, leading from the curb to the BMW, police said. Officers also found a yellow life hammer seatbelt cutter, lying close to the blood trail, police said.
No arrests were made, but the garage does have a video surveillance system.
