Person Killed By Train In Bergen County: CSX
A person was struck and killed by a CSX train in Bergen County over the weekend, the company said.

HARRINGTON PARK, NJ — A person was struck and killed by a CSX train in Bergen County on Saturday, according to the train company.
A CSX spokesperson said the train struck a pedestrian just before 1:30 p.m. on the tracks near the intersection of Semmens Road and La Roche Avenue in Harrington Park.
"Bergen County EMS and Harrington Park Police quickly responded to the scene and later reported that the individual was fatally injured," said CSX spokesperson Austin Staton.

There were no injuries to the crew onboard, he said.
"CSX extends its deepest sympathies to everyone impacted by this tragic incident and will continue to support local law enforcement as they complete the investigation," he said.
