Presinzano Civic Awards $2,500 Scholarships To Hoboken Graduates
Students maintained a high GPA, wrote an essay about "what Hoboken means to them," and plan to continue their education.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The Presinzano Civic Foundation has awarded $2,500 to Hoboken graduating seniors at the Hoboken High School Awards Ceremony held on June 15, 2022.
Hoboken resident Paul Presinzano, the foundation’s CEO, stated, “We are a newly created 501 C3 organization focusing on youth and seniors of Hoboken. Helping students with scholarships as they pursue their goals of higher education is just one of many ways we hope invest in our neighbors and community.”
To qualify, students needed to maintain a certain GPA, write a 250-word essay about “What Hoboken means to them,” and plan to continue their education. The Presinzano Civic Foundation board originally planned to award $2000 in scholarships but decided to increase that number based on the number of applications received.
