HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Hudson County by the National Weather Service on Friday.
The watch runs from 1:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Forecasters said the biggest chance for storms in Hudson County was between 4 and 8 p.m.

Storms can be followed on the radar here. At 2 p.m., the radar showed scattered storms in Pennsylvania, moving east toward North Jersey.

The NWS also issued a rare extreme heat warning that began at 11 a.m. and runs through 8 p.m. Friday.
