Snooki Visits Cake Boss
The Jersey Shore celebrity ordered a vanilla strawberry cake for her mother
It was bound to happen sooner or later: Hoboken got snooked.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, one of the stars of the MTV show The Jersey Shore, visited Hoboken's biggest celebrity Cake Boss Buddy Valastro Wednesday afternoon.
"I had a cannoli and it was beyond amazing," Polizzi said. She said she's a huge Cake Boss fan ("best show ever") and was even a little nervous to meet Valastro—whom she hadn't met before.

"I was shaking when I met him," Polizzi said.
Polizzi and her hometown friend Stephanie Greiner, 21, arrived around 11:30 a.m. Polizzi immediately posted on Twitter: "We made it!!! OMG o.O" with a picture of Carlo's Bakery attached.

Snooki went in for a consultation and said she ordered a vanilla strawberry cake with three tiers for her mom, in honor of Mother's Day. After the consultation, Polizzi and Valastro stood outside the Bake Shop, taking pictures and talking to fans.
"Snooki is the best," Valastro said, "we had a lot of fun today."
Valastro, currently busy filming the third season of his TLC reality show, said the cake is going to be amazing, and would be a representation of Polizzi and her mom.
It's still unclear if Polizzi's visit will air on the third season of the Cake Boss, but the production team did film Snooki's entrance into the store multiple times. Valastro could not say if there were any other celebrities coming on the show.
Snooki tweeted about her visit, updating her status frequently with pictures. "Buddy!! Omg love this," she wrote as soon as she set foot on the second floor of the store.
As soon as people realized Snooki was in the house, many took out their cellphone cameras. A group of four friends from Bethlehem, Penn., came to see Valastro and didn't know Polizzi was going to be in town today.
"It's cool that she's here," said Julie Azar, 18. Her friend Kasey Groiss, 19, had already met Snooki once before, but wasn't as impressed. "She's not that famous, she's only on one show," she said. Still the girls waited around to get a glimpse of her.
After Polizzi got a T-shirt and some cannoli, she was off to her next destination. But not before posting on Twitter: "Today is the best day of my life!! :D"
