This Spring, why not try something (or someplace) new?
In case you haven’t already noticed on your social media feeds, the pottery renaissance (or pottery-sance as we call it) is well underway. More than ever, people are throwing on the wheel. Families are handbuilding together. ‘Ghost’ is making a comeback. You don’t want to miss this moment.
Our next session of adult weekly classes begins the week of April 14th, with 7 week classes for all experience levels offered every day of the week. Our weekly classes include 2 hours of class each week, in addition to unlimited open studio time for students to come in and practice independently. Once enrolled, students also have unlimited access to studio clay, glazes, and communal equipment. And in case you’re concerned about making it to class on the same day and time each week, we’ve got that covered. All students receive access to our class "seating chart" which allows you to switch between classes of the same experience level whenever it benefits your schedule. It’s an amazing way to add in flexibility for you, and it also allows you the chance to experience different teachers and their unique teaching styles.
We’re also currently accepting new monthly members! Our membership comes with everything our weekly classes do, but without instruction. Memberships are perfect for potters who have experience and don’t necessarily need ongoing classes, but we do offer several free and discounted workshops for those who want to continue learning more specific skills. We even collaborate with our members to plan these workshops; we’re always communicating with them to see if they’d like to see anything new or different.
Lastly, members have exclusive priority to our collaborations and partnerships. We’ve had members curate guacamole bowls for a local Mexican restaurant, sell their work in local shops, and soon they’ll be creating saucers for a local coffee shop. It’s a phenomenal way to push yourself as a potter and really put yourself out there, and if your work is ever going to be sold, we never take even a small percentage of your earnings.
If you’d like to book a class, you can do that via our website using this link. If you’d like to learn more or sign up for our membership, please email info@blueskiespottery.com.
We can’t wait to see you at the studio soon!
