HOBOKEN, NJ — More than two inches of rain could fall in Hudson County Thursday into Friday, the National Weather Service says.

The NWS has issued a flood watch from 2 p.m. Thursday through 2 p.m. Friday.

The Hoboken area is more likely to flood when 0.8 inches of rain or more fall per hour, officials have said, and approaching high tide.

The high tide in Hoboken is expected. to be at 2:29 p.m. Thursday and 2:36 a.m. Friday, according to the chart.

An extreme heat warning, hazardous weather outlook, and air quality alert have also been issued.
