HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — With three tropical disturbances swirling in the Atlantic Ocean, heavy rains are expected Thursday in Hudson County.

An inch of rain is in the forecast. Forecasters say thunderstorms are expected before 5 p.m., and a downpour around 8 p.m. The wind may gust as high as 20 m.p.h.

The city of Hoboken says the greatest chance of flooding is when 0.8 inches of rain fall in an hour. Thursday, high tide will be around 11:27 a.m. and 11:46 p.m.
