Track Santa's Trek to Hoboken

The folks at the Aerospace Command are gearing up to chart Mr. Claus' Christmas Eve journey across the globe.

Hoboken families wondering just what time Santa Claus will make his appearance locally can track the jolly old elf’s journey courtesy of the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

NORAD has announced it will once again put its technological prowess to use helping children all over the world keep up with Santa’s Christmas Eve ride. The NORAD Santa Tracker website is already up and running with a countdown clock ticking away the time until the big night arrives.

NORAD and its predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command, have been tracking Santa’s movements since 1955, the agency’s website says. That website also offers a number of activities, including games, movies, music and the “Secret Santa Files” to keep kids busy on Christmas Eve – and before.
